Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, retain, and protect information when you use Artiful on Shopify or via our site.
1. Information We Collect
- Uploaded Photos: Stored on AWS S3; may be processed by our own or trusted third-party AI services.
- IP Address: Logged for security and operational purposes related to uploads.
- Payment Status: We store only a boolean flag indicating whether a product has been paid.
- No Payment Data: Payments are handled by Shopify or other platform providers; we do not store card or billing details.
2. How We Use Information
- To transform or modify uploaded photos (style filters, background replacement, paint by numbers, diamond painting, etc.).
- To deliver results and enable sharing with friends.
- To verify payment status and unlock paid features.
- To maintain service quality, troubleshoot issues, and analyze usage.
3. Data Retention
Uploaded photos and generated results are stored for up to 365 days. After this period, data is automatically deleted from our systems.
4. Sharing of Data
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information with:
- Service providers (e.g., AWS S3 for storage, third-party AI services for processing).
- Shopify or other e-commerce platforms as required for payment verification and app operation.
5. User Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other laws, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data and to object to certain processing. To exercise your rights, contact alexey@itful.ee.
6. Data Deletion Policy
Automatic deletion: Uploaded photos and generated results are deleted after 365 days.
Deletion on request: You can request deletion at any time by emailing alexey@itful.ee. We usually process requests within 30 days.
Payments: We do not store payment details; payments are processed by Shopify or other third-party providers.
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect stored data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in technology, law, or business practices. Updates will be posted at https://art.itful.ee/privacy with the effective date.
